This weekend the varsity squad participated at the prestigious Eastlake North Ranger Relays. We finished 7th out of 16 teams. Among the highlights include a stirring come-from-behind victory in the 4 x 1600 Friday night when Kristin Karn made up 25 meters in the last leg to win by .2 over Solon. The team also consisted of Melissa Bresnahan, Kenzie Bova, and Kelly Gallagher.
Second place finishes were also brought home in two field events. The pole vault relay of Alexis Lees and Angelina Chuppa jumped to a silver medal Friday night. The discus relay team of Samantha Sulzer and Amy Palguta both set season's bests to easily outdistance third place.
