Workouts for Week of Feb 25, 2013


Week of Monday, February 25, 2013

This week’s workouts are below.  Sprinters – you should always have your spikes just in case.  Pole Vaulters – you are to come to all practices and not just days you pole vault.  You have to go with either sprinters or distance (whichever group you are) unless otherwise noted.

Monday – Feb 25…37° partly cloudy
Throwers – throwing day till 4:30
Sprinters – repeat 150’s on the track (some possible hurdles)
Distance – with Coach Meeson
Pole vault – w/sprinters?

Tuesday – Feb 26…37° rain/wind
Throwers – weight room with planned workout written
Sprinters – something snappy – depends on weather
Distance – with Coach Meeson
Pole vault – with Sprinters

Wednesday – Feb 27…38° rain/snow
Throwers – on own
Sprinters – on own
Distance – on own
Pole vault – drills with coaches

Thursday – Feb 28…34° some snow
Throwers – ½ throw, ½ lift
Sprinters – modified special endurance II
Distance – with Coach Meeson
Pole vault – with sprinters

Friday – Feb 29…31° some snow
Throwers – on own
Sprinters – on own
Distance – on own
Pole vault – on own

Saturday – Feb 30 – 28° some snow
Meet at Kent State University (girls only meet)…see itinerary on “indoor track” page on website.  Leave time TBD.
