Workouts for week of March 11


SJA SPRINTERS….2013 – WEEK OF 3/11/13

Monday, March 10 – 52° wind/rain
          Full team meeting (hopefully in gym)
          Warm up on track in groups (unless pouring)
                    Get into warm-up groups
          Split into 2 groups
                    Group 1 – lift and hurdle drills
                    Group 2 – pipe hurdle run throughs
          Cool down as a big group

Tuesday, March 11 – 39° rain/snow
          1 lappers on trail behind motherhouse.  Effort 7/10 – not all out!
          Jump roping and abs after

Wednesday, March 12 – 33° likely snow (PARENT MEETING 7PM)
          B’ball day??
          Split group into a lifting group and a yoga group, then switch

Thursday, March 13 – 34° partly cloudy
          Start in classroom to go over events, explain lettering, and hand-offs
          Go to track to warm-up
          Get in spikes and do hand-offs

Friday, March 14 – 40° some snow
          State people will warm-up stretch, then go home
          The rest will have a plyos day and do some long jump work

Saturday, March 15 – Indoor State Meet! – 38° partly cloudy
          7:45 – leave for Akron
          10:00am – 4 x 200
          12:10pm – 400m dash

Sunday, March 16 – 39° mostly cloudy
          No scheduled work!  Get good grades!!!!!
