This weeks workouts April 16

Weekly workouts April 16

This is a very important week for all of us for many reasons. We need to get back together as a team, focus on what’s ahead, and start evaluating our end-of-season goals as we hit the mid-way point and start heading toward the post-season.

Monday, April 16 – for this one day sprinters should expect 5:30 dismissal – much to do!!!
Full team meeting, 3:20 in Academy Center if possible, cafeteria otherwise.
Throwers with Coach Garlock (the “senior 3” may go to St. Iggy at 4:30 to meet with Coach Flandera)
Sprinters and Middle Distance with Coach Kieser and Coach Shannon
Distance with Coach Meeson and Coach Ohliger
PV join Coach Wolosz at 4:30

Tuesday, April 17

Team has light pre-meet practice at SJA until 4:30/4:45. You are encouraged to watch PV if you have time. 

Wednesday, April 18
Meet @ Lutheran West v. Magnificat – see line up on website THIS IS A SENIOR NIGHT!
EVERYBODY PLEASE WEAR PURPLE TOPS AND BLACK PANTS – BE A TEAM!
For this one meet NO ATHLETE LEAVES UNTIL THE FINAL EVENT IS DONE!!!!
Competition will be split into separate JV and varsity team scores – most of you are JV (nobody is both for this meet – you have to be one or the other).
Bus #1 will leave around 3:45 and bus #2 (if needed at 4:15). No bus back to school! Get picked up at Lutheran West.
SJA is the host school – we need volunteers to help make the meet run smooth and professionally. If any parents want to work a field event (less time, but more work) or the finish line (more time, but less exhausting) please contact me (Coach Kieser).

Sprinters – with Coach Shannon for light workout and not-so-light weight room session.
