Overall another solid effort. However, let’s get the
negative stuff out of the way first. One set of blocks was left on the bus when
we arrived. This can never happen again. Someone needs to step up and take
responsibility for making sure all equipment is off the bus. I don’t care if
it’s a senior or a freshman or whatever. It just never can happen again. Please
note that there are asterisks by many of the performances. Those are used to
designate a season’s-best performance. Hopefully we will continue to see lots
of asterisks as the season progresses.
ATHLETES OF THE MEET:
Overall MVA—Maggie Wagner (2:30.7 in 4x8, 64.8 in 4x4)
Sprints—Haley Morgan (27.82 in 200, 65.7 in 4x4)
Distance/middle distance—Amanda Keim (PR 5:33.54 in 1600,
